The Guy Behind The Good Haul

IMG_4495.HEIC

Founder • Hauler • Teacher • Dog Dad • Proud 805 Local

After moving to Santa Barbara to embrace a slower pace and deeper sense of purpose, Brandon found himself pulled toward two things he loves most: helping people and serving his community. During the week, you’ll find him substitute teaching at local Santa Barbara schools — and when class is out, he’s out hauling cardboard, donations, and junk to help families around the 805 declutter with ease.

He launched The Good Haul to be more than just a pickup service — it's a neighborly helping hand for busy moms, seniors, and anyone ready to get their space (and peace of mind) back.

You’ll likely spot Brandon around town with his golden retriever Penelope, enjoying early morning beach walks or weekend strolls through the Rose Garden, her favorite spot to roll around and make friends.

Fun Facts:

🐶 Penelope is the unofficial mascot of The Good Haul
🌊 Favorite beach: Butterfly Beach
☕ Go-to coffee: Iced vanilla cold brew from Handlebar
🛻 Best part of the job? “Seeing the relief on someone’s face when the clutter’s gone.”

Whether he's in the classroom or behind the wheel of his truck, Brandon shows up with a smile, a work ethic, and a heart to serve.

The Good Haul — pickups with purpose, powered by a neighbor who cares.
